Warrie Circuit Walk (17km Return)

Join us 08:00AM Saturday 21 March 2020 at Tallanbana trailhead, Springbrook Road, (approximately 1.5hrs drive south of Brisbane), to complete the Warrie Circuit Walk.

DISTANCE:  17km Return 
LOCATION: Springbrook National Park
MEETING POINT:  Tallanbana trailhead carpark, Springbrook Rd 08:00AM
DIFFICULTY: Moderate Difficulty, due to its length, steep and slippery surfaces

*Suitable for children with moderate fitness level

DETAILS: This beautiful walk takes you through subtropical rainforest and past many waterfalls. The track (named with the Aboriginal word 'Warrie', meaning 'rushing water') crosses several creeks and gullies.

What you should bring:

Small day pack
- 3L of water in bottles or a bladder 
- A snack for morning tea, lunch 
- Hat and sunscreen
- Insect repellant
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Any medications
- Phone or camera
- Wet weather jacket 
- Long pants and gaiters are recommended

- Swimmers are optional

SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS:

Weather conditions can impact walking trails. Prior to the walk please check the parks.des.qld.gov.au website or the Support Crew Facebook Page for any road or park closures.

If you are walking with children, you are responsible for their safety. Keep to the track. This walk has sheer cliffs and waterfalls. Supervise children closely.
